Royal icing adds a decorative finish to these zucchini bread cupcakes with cream cheese buttercream garden cupcakes! Pipe pictures and scenes onto parchment paper, allow to dry, and bring a new dimension to your cupcakes! Warning: if your buttercream is on the moist side, and your royal icing decor is fairly thin, the moisture could dissolve the royal icing. In that case, you might consider extra stability with pretzel sticks, or toothpicks in a pinch. Luckily, I didn’t need any extra stability for these. The cream cheese icing was thick enough to hold my structures.
